Deputy Minister Wafiullah Kakar meets IOM Chief of Mission

Stuart Simpson, International Organization for Migration (IOM) head of mission, paid Vice Minister for Refugee Affairs Wafiullah Kakar a courtesy visit on 14 October 2020. Vice Minister for Refugee Affairs Wafiullah Kakar warmly welcomed the IOM’s engagement in Afghanistan.

In this meeting, both sides agreed to further improve the good cooperation and review all IOM projects in the migration sector in order to crystalize the success areas and identify the areas where, there is room for improvement. "The purpose of this reviews is to learn from past experiences. If necessary, the projects will be adjusted so that they become more effective and efficient and IDPs, Afghan returnees and refugee-repatriates may better and fairer benefit from the projects.
