The Minister of Refugees met with the Deputy Secretary General (IRC)

The Minister of Refugees, Haji Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani, met with Mr. Bob Kitchen, Deputy Director General of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), in her office on Thursday, 12 May.

 During the meeting, humanitarian aid for Afghanistan and the future plans of the International Rescue Committee were discussed, and Mr. Wiki Aken, the head of the Committee for Afghanistan, thanked the Islamic Emirate and especially the Ministry of Refugees for their assistance in providing assistance to the area.

She added that before, they could not go to remote areas of the provinces, but now, with full confidence, we can travel to all areas and this is a good opportunity and it is time to help and cooperate in the development sector.

Welcoming the other side, the Minister of Refugees said that assistance should be provided in coordination and under the supervision of the Ministry of Refugees, and that assistance should be distributed to deserving families in remote areas of the country that have not yet arrived.

In this meeting Mr. Mohammad Arslah Khorouti, Deputy Minister of Refugee Affairs, and Mr. Adnan Junaid, Head of the International Rescue Committee for Five Asian Countries were also attended.
