Directorate for Emergency state

In the past, this directorate was as one of the departments named IDPs under the structure of Reintegration and IDPs directorate. Presently, it is structured as the directorate of Emergency states that carries out these tasks:  

  • Keeping on and active all programs related to emergency responses in different areas and scopes of emergency states for vulnerable, returnees and IDPs in cooperation with national and international aid agencies,
  • Determining and timely survey from IDPs have suffered losses in negotiation with national and international organizations.
  • Precise identification of those returnees and IDPs who live collectively in open spaces and in very poor conditions,
  • Establishing communications with humanitarian organizations for finding aids and assistance for vulnerable groups,
  • On time process of cash assistance and its distribution it for vulnerable groups,
  • Distribution of aid food for deserved individuals, who have already identified in surveys.
  • Managing rescue operation team equipped with its equipments and tools,
  • Awareness and readiness for probable emergency incidents,
  • Establish communication between rescue operation team and authorities.
  • Transporting refugees and IDPs from different places to their own residential areas,
  • Regular contact with senior authorities by submitting reports and briefing them about way of operation during emergencies,
  • Taking actions and measures by finding job opportunities during emergency states for IDPs displaced in order to make them self-reliance.
